Take a Step in the Right Direction

If you’ve ventured out in Sydney’s infamous Kings Cross of a Saturday night, you’ll know there are plenty of women happy enough to unstrap their impossibly high heels and continue their journey with bare feet and shoes in hand. But, by doing this, women are risking serious injury. However, all this could be coming to an end following the launch of a new campaign.

For this weekend only, leading foot care brand Scholl will provide Sydney partygoers with Australia’s first gel cushion vending machine, helping to relieve women of their aching feet. The Party Feet ‘Step up the Cross’ campaign will see popular Kings Cross nightclub Trademark provide the bespoke vending machine filled with gel cushions. The practical sized packaging makes the gel cushions an essential accessory to any woman’s evening clutch, ensuring women are enjoying themselves in comfort and class.

Ricky Oshry, Trademark Hotel General Manager, is excited for the Party Feet Vending Machine to be introduced to the hotel. “It’s great to have a brand like Party Feet on board in our efforts to improve the community and the culture of the Cross. I think the ladies are going to love it!” he says.

The Party Feet Vending Machine will be located inside Trademark Hotel on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March. In addition, the Party Feet Prince will also be making an appearance to ensure that ladies are going home in their shoes, rather than their bare feet! A Prince with an interest in shoes… There’s no harm in stopping by, right?

So ladies, if you find yourself heading home from the infamous red light district this weekend, be sure to pick up your pair of gel cushions to relieve your aching Party Feet. Not only is it a general rule that one should never walk home in bare feet, but you will also be helping a good cause. All proceeds made from the vending machine will be donated to Lou’s Place, a women’s shelter in Kings Cross. Class and Charity, you say? You can’t disagree with that!  So stop by and help ensure a cleaner and healthier looking destination for Sydneysiders and tourists.
